I’ve recently bought an unlocked 8GB Iphone and was wondering if downloading the latest Itunes version 4 would contain automatic update for Iphone software which would brick it? Is it safe to install the latest Itunes without seriously damaging the unlocked feature?
Itunes latest version doesn’t create any problems with the Iphone. Its the Iphone firmware you should be concerned about.

Is there a Blackberry Connect Software available for iPhone yet ?
Not as yet or the info we have (if someone knows about it, please update us). But hopefully next year as Apple is rolling out SDK for iphone, then majority of apps missing at the moment would be coming on the iphone platform. MSN is the highest demanded.
Apple is releasing Firware 1.1.2 in conjunction with a new Itunes 7.5. This will put a stop to all current hacks like jail break. Our suggestion is caution! Wait for some reviews of the firmware before making the plunge.
MSN, Yahoo! etc (except Google Talk) are already available via ‘Apollo’ on the iPhone.
Any clues on Google Talk ?
And by the way, I’m running v1.1.1 on my iPhone (not the Ibricked) - I updated the Installer updates received on the phone & phone remained unlocked. Once installed you’ll get a huge list of 3rd party applications available for iPhone. ‘Apollo’ - I discovered there
